Z axis position correction glitch... thing

I killed a golden CID while over some water and the animation put me under the water. I had to jump out to fix that issue but then the game began to get confused and kept trying to correct my z axis position and I kept glitching up and down while walking on land. I still don't know the name of the area but it was by the big Zinyak statue on the island, by the stairwells for climbing up out of the water.
