Unable to start the game. Permission error (temp fix..)

A patch seems to have rolled out, so this might be useful for you, might not..

just a temporary fix for people with the:

"Unable to start the game. Please restart and make sure to accept permissions for using the game with your Epic account." error

after getting to the launcher, press any of the render choices and start tapping enter until the bar fills up to the end, this should allow you to start the game

make sure to close all of the error messages that pop up after launching the game..

What i ended up doing is after it gave me the error, i just clicked behind it in the loading bar and it fixed it, left the error until after the game fully booted up
