I wonder if that is possible.
I would like any color (something NPC cars don't use, maybe pink) to be changed into a transparent color, so when you choose it during customization, the selected car part gets "invisible".
This would be great to make non-convertible cars into convertible cars, or just for removing unwanted parts of car.
