TexMod

[Fluffy Squishy]

Hey guys! Really love this site. A lot of great stuff to read here. I read about retexturing Saints Row IV with modding game files. But i would like to use Texmod instead, because don't want to mod original files. I tried with SR3 and SR4, but TexMod didn't work. Any ideas how to make it work? Thanks a lot for answers!

I've never heard of Texmod been used for Saintsrow 3/4 .
I think it will only work with DX9 games so you need to make sure a game is running in dx9 mode.
Maybe you could try Umod which is supposed to be a newer version of Texmod ,though development seems to have stopped on Umod ages ago .

In most cases, you don't have to modify any existing game files to retexture. Simply add your modded game files to the game directory (without overwriting anything) and the game will automatically use your textures instead of the ones that came with the game. If you want to easily add and remove your mods without having to remember which files were modified, use my Simple Mod Manager.
