SRIV SDK Release B: Clothing Item Tools

releaseBanner.jpg

This thread is where you can download the most recent version of the official Saints Row modding SDK. Release B enables you to make all kinds of customization items for Saints Row IV.*

Additionally, Volition agreed to provide the modding community with a plethora of 3d assets, featuring not only clothes and hairstyles, but also NPC models. Those will be available to download here in the near future.

It’s been an honor to work on this. Now it’s your turn, go make something cool!

NOTE: You need to download a few external tools to run the SDK, visit one of the SDK related tutorials linked below in order to download them.

*Note that hairstyles are currently not fully supported by the modding patch. However, that’s probably going to change sooner, rather than later.

**Using this SDK release in combination with the modding patch also makes it possible to add new weapon models to Saints Row IV without replacing existing ones, but the tutorial hasn’t been updated yet.

Wish it worked for The Third.

Technically it does, but there's no Workshop for Saints Row The Third. However we can't rule out that there will be at some point.
Well, if that's the case, I'd like to see my auxiliary skins.

will it work by add custom mods to the third because IV and The Third are the same as using the same engine
It's not the same engine... well IV's engine is newer version of TT's and doesn't have limits so that's why we have SDKs and workshop for IV.
