Side mission unlock didn't work, any suggestions?

Hi guys

I'm new to the forum but from browsing it seems it anyone can help it'll be you guys!

I'm playing through SR4 in co-op, we've done all the missions, main and side along with the DLC and are now working through the challenges/achievements.

I've just noticed that I don't have the shrink unlock which is given when you help SR2 Shaundi with a task.

The daft thing is:
I've completed the task
Spoken to Shaundi (in the computer) which should activate it
It has unlocked for my Mrs who was playing in co-op with me.

I don't seem to be able to replay the mission to unlock it.

I'm knackered as now I can't complete the challenges or get all the achievements...does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix it?

Try this it has non flagging cheats you can use 'Unlock Stomp - superstomp'
it might work to unlock the element you need not 100% tho might be worth a try tho

iv been looking through the tabels and It seems like you would have to change the unlockbles.xtbl but I cant work out what needs changing or to what it would be changed to :P, I was hoping it worked like the store weapons and I could just set it as unlocked true

How and where do I put that in, is it a console command? I haven't seen the option to enable a console in SR4.

Also, by "non flagging cheats", do you mean that if I enable it, I will still be able to collect the Steam achievements and complete the challenges without being penalised?

Ther is no in game console in Saints Row that I know of things are done through button binds and your phone normaly
to use that ther should be a Read Me with it but basicly just drop the Cheats.xtbl into your Saints Row IV root folder where your SRIV exe is then go into your phone bring up your phone hub where you view missions etc then on the bottom right click that then choose cheats then enter new an type that cheat in then go back then go to whatever catagory your cheat would be in then activate that cheat, Im not 100% it will work on the element, I know if you have the cheat dlc then you can 100% all your powers that would work but you would need that dlc

and yes thats exactly what non flaging is :) it will stop the game from blocking achivments, challanges and turning off auto save

Should I be downloading a file called cheats.xtbl from somewhere?

Ah ha, I see, thanks!

OK I've downloaded the file and I can see in the game where you put the code in for the cheat, but as you say looking at the file it doesn't include anything for unlocking the powers.

How would I edit that file to allow me to add the line you suggested?

Once that's added, what would I need to type in game to activate it?

The unlock buff should be part of it just look through the read me for the code to enter into your phone :)
this could be modifed to unlock an element prob but im not sure how you would go about that
 
Oh I see, I think I understand now!

It's under the vanilla section - Unlock Stomp - superstomp, so if I type 'superstomp' it'll unlock the F3 powers and all their elements, is that right?

That's fine if so as I've unlocked the rest of it! :)

yes thats right, im not sure if it will unlock all the elements tho but its worth a try, id already unlocked them all before id used that
