This mod has been released here and on Mod DB - if you found it somewhere else, it's an outdated version uploaded without permission!

--> DESCRIPTION <--
This mod adds new weapons, skins and upgrades to the game. It tweaks a lot of other stuff too.

--> HOW TO INSTALL? <--
  • Copy everything from 'Files' folder to your Saints Row IV install folder.
    • TIP: Saints Row IV install folder will be wherever you installed Steam: ..\Steam\SteamApps\common\SaintsRowIV\
  • You'll need to reset your key bindings in order to make the satchel charges and cruise control work.
    • Go to Menu Options -> Menu Controls -> Menu Set Keys and Buttons and press F1.

    • Choose 'Yes' if the game asks you are you sure.
    • Now go to Menu Options -> Menu Controls -> Menu Set Keys and Buttons -> Menu General and press F1.

    • Again, choose 'Yes' if the game asks you are you sure.
  • Done! Now everything should work properly. We highly recommend to use this mod with Shitface's NPC Behaviour!
ATTENTION! If you used any older version of this mod, make sure to uninstall it first! The easiest way to do this is to use uninstaller from 'Expanded Arsenal Mod Uninstaller' folder, just copy it to your Saints Row IV install folder and follow the instructions.

--> HOW TO UNINSTALL? <--
Just copy 'Expanded_Arsenal_Mod_Uninstaller.bat' to your Saints Row IV install folder, launch it and follow the instructions. Then verify the cache via Steam in order to restore original VPP_PC files.

--> COMPATIBILITY <--
This mod is fully compatible with:
--> DISINTEGRATING GRENADES FOR THE ALIENS ADD-ON <--
This add-on replaces the suppression grenades with disintegrating ones. If you want to have your superpowers all the time, just copy 'weapons.xtbl' from 'Disintegrating grenades for the aliens add-on' folder to your Saints Row IV install folder.

--> HEAVY TRUCKS ADD-ON <--
This add-on makes all big trucks crush smaller vehicles! Just like monster trucks! To have this feature in your game, copy all files from 'Heavy trucks add-on' folder to your Saints Row IV install folder.

  • ELECTRO BLAST (requires 'Matt's Back'): Stun a group of foes with a high-voltage blast of electricity!

  • KNIFE (requires 'The Fundamentals'): Good old knife... This brings back memories.

  • ICE BEAM (requires 'He Lives'): Freeze, muthafucka!
  • MICRONIZER (requires 'Grand Finale'): Shrinks people.
RIFLES:
  • GLITCHMASTER 3000 (requires 'Grand Finale'): how did this get here i am not good with computer
  • LAZARUS RIFLE (requires 'He Lives'): A miraculous new invention which resurrects deceased creatures! Warning: Use on live specimens may cause death.
  • TOGO-13 (requires 'The Case of Mr. X'): Good for love taps from 500 yards...and by "love taps", we mean "exploding heads".
EXPLOSIVES:
  • MARAUDER WEAPON (requires 'Grand Finale'): Turn the Marauders' own weapon against them!

--> ADDITIONAL TWEAKS AND FEATURES <--
WEAPONS:
  • Moved the stun gun to the pistols slot. It's now dual wieldable too.
  • Added camera seizure effect to the stun gun.
  • Decreased the time it takes to explode heads with the inflato ray.
  • Added gibbing effect to the rocket launcher and to the plasma cannon.
  • Decreased the black hole launcher's cooldown time.
  • Moved the tiny pistol to the pistols slot.
  • Removed overheat from the tiny pistol.
  • Fixed camera issues with the tiny pistol.
  • Given 'no bullet decal' flag to all Dubstep Guns.
  • You can now switch between sniper scope and normal zoom while using the sniper rifle.
  • The sniper rifle now ragdolls enemies.
  • Tweaked damage done by the lasergun arm.
  • Moved the minethrower arm to the explosives slot.
  • Murderbots now drop permanent versions of the lasergun and the minethrower arms.
  • Added new VFX and damage balances to the flamethrowers to make them actually useful. Both weapons also have been given a new matfx, you can now burn enemies to ash!
  • Added a new upgrade to the brute flamethrower, it can push enemies over now but is not as good at killing vehicles anymore.
  • Moved the GL G20 to the explosives slot.
  • Tweaked time management and damage done by the GL G20.
  • Increased the max ammo for some weapons.
WEAPON COSTUMES:
  • Swapped the Giant Bone and the Caveman Club from the Stone Age Pack so the Giant Bone is a costume for the Tentacle Bat and the Caveman Club is a costume for the baseball bat.
  • The North Pole is now a costume for the Dildo Bat. It also has new sounds and constant effects.
  • Added new VFX to the Kardak Lasershot costume for the pump-action shotgun.
  • Oppressor Minelayer and the Oppressor Minigun costumes have different SFX and VFX than the original Minethrower Arm and Minigun Arm.
  • Fixed Grass Roots ´Merica weapon skin SFX.
SUPERPOWERS:
  • Disabled superpower glow.
  • Added screen effect to the glitch explosion.
  • Enabled more objects to be picked up by the telekinesis.
  • Removed the DFA nuke cutscene.
  • The DFA nuke screen effects are longer.
  • Lengthened MatFX of superpowers from Bling Bling Pack and Element of Destruction Pack.
  • Removed broken life steal element from the buff so it doesn't unlock after using 'Give all super upgrades' cheat anymore.
  • Gave the suppression grenades a shorter fuse and longer superpower disabling time. They also explode on contact with the player.
VEHICLES:
  • Added incendiary and/or gibbing effects to the VTOL, tank and helicopter weapons.
  • Saints Crusader is faster and has better weapons (it takes longer before they overheat and their cooldown has been slightly increased).
  • Saints N-Forcer is faster and uses VTOL laser beam instead of the regular minigun.
  • Gat Mobile cigarette uses the same matfx as TF2 and EtD flamethrowers.
  • Fixed missing Salem SFX.
  • Boats are now flyable - Miami and Commander are VTOL and Shark is a hoverbike.
UNLOCKABLES:
  • Certain DLC weapons won't be unlocked automatically right after 'The Real World' mission - you'll have to buy them at Friendly Fire first.
  • Unlocked SilverLink hairstyles (Hi Fauxhawk and Queen Bee).
  • Removed all pointless old unlockables to make some room for new ones.
KEYBINDS:
  • Added a vertical swing attack to melee weapons - just press W, S, A or D + left mouse button at the same time!
  • Fixed the cruise control.
WORLD:
  • Fire effects have been given a longer lifespan.
  • Restored SR2 gas pump explosion physics.
  • Increased rift effect radius.
  • Improved super NPC AI.
  • Increased NPC hadouken damage.
  • Tweaked Warden's weapons.
  • Improved motorcycle grip.
  • Reduced glitch effect frequency.
  • Changed the notoriety ped levels to keep the city fully populated during high notoriety levels!
  • All decals will now stay permanently.
  • Ported 'tweak_table' tweaks from Shitface's Weapon Re-Balance.

dont know if adding this would help at all <Flag>use mission srid for effects</Flag>
and im not 100% but this might work im not sure how animations work for weapons as much but is ther a way to be like knife.xtbl for the animations if ther is try this file mission00.xtbl
as I think these are the animation files

Edit: just went back had look through the code it looks like the animation set might be called on by this

Actually I've done:
  • Combat Knife (default) - Kill slient. Like true SWAT.
  • Hot Dog - Camouflage your knife in Hot Dog. No one will expect a trap.
  • Beer Bottle - Screw knife. Glass bottle is much more gangsta.
  • Nyte Blayde comics - Did you know that comics are dangerous? Well, now you can convince yourself.

hahaha oh god that is epic how are you swaping the weapon costumes, I dont know if you can find any of the ones for the weildble props they might have to be ported in from SRTT aswell not sure if theyr in SRIV see but theyr in weapons stuff like cricket bat be cool to see

I realy realy wana try and port back in killbanes gloves atm best thing I have is dildo bat with gibs on it so its same effect

Sorry, but I have no idea how to port stuff from SR3. Nyte Blayde comics is already one of leftovers from SR3. :(

what tabels are you working with for this apart from weapon.xtbl and store.xtbl

I want to try and get chainsaw from SRTT working if its possible been potching with weapons last few days best iv done so far is dual weild rocket pistols that shoot fast as you spam the trigger :')

you should get some more screens up of your camos like the hotdog one :')
 
Alright, first public release - V0.1 Beta - uploaded to the OP. It includes knife with five costumes (including default and test costume). Still, I didn't implement combat animations, but it's beta, so don't expect everything stable. Also, note that subtitles are working only for English language. Tomorrow I'm also going to post more screens, tidy OP and make Polish translation, but I don't know other languages (I'm learning German at the moment, but I'm at beginning, so only things that I can say are "Horst du gern Musik?" or "Woher kommt er?" :p), so if someone wants to help - write to me on Steam chat or send private message here.

String Editor is one of Minimaul's Saints Row IV tools, that allows to change/add new strings to language files (well, originally it's called Extract Strings, but who cares). :)
