Kinzie, Matt, Asha, and Shaundi are gathering supplies in a Storage Room aboard the Zin Mothership.

Kinzie: Weapons and ammo?

Asha: Check.

Kinzie: Food and various medication?

Shaundi: Does Zin Mood Enhancing Crystal Powder count as medication?

Kinzie: I can work with that, sure.

Shaundi: (Not so subtle) Score! (Regaining composure) I... I mean, check.

Matt: And video games for the Z-Box Game Station 31... Check.

Everyone looks at Matt in disappointment.

Matt: What? We need some form of entertainment if we're searching the entire universe for a new homeworld.

Asha: You are the only person on the ship who finds those interactive discs entertaining.

Matt: Well, more fun for me then.

Shaundi: Hey, where did the Boss and Johnny go?

Matt: I think they said something about "taking a trip down memory lane"?

Asha: If they wanted to do that, they could have just went into one of the many simulations Kinzie programmed for them.

Shaundi: Nah, those two prefer to kick ass in the real world.

Kinzie: But... That means...

Cut to the Boss and Gat using bolt cutters to unlock the room to the Time Machine.

Boss: You ready to see what we did to Steelport in memory of you?

Gat: I thought Kinzie said not to use the time machine?

Boss: It's one little trip. We won't stay long and we'll stay off the radar.

Gat: Alright, lead the way.

The Boss and Gat enter the room. Cut to the other 4 running down a corridor, while communicating with Pierce through their earpieces.

Kinzie: Where are they now?!

Pierce: They just entered the room with the Time Machine! Hurry!

Asha: I still don't understand what the big deal is?

Shaundi: Every time we use the time machine, it creates a paradox.

Asha: But Zinji said it isolates the paradox so it doesn't break the timeline.

Matt: Yes, but too many isolated paradoxes will cause the timeline to overload, and an event so extreme that it's impossible to even know what will happen.

Asha: Oh, bloody hell. There's always something.

Kinzie: We have to stop them.

We shift to slow motion as it cuts between the 4 Saints running to the room, and the Boss & Gat stepping closer to the time machine.

Pierce: It's too late!

Go back to normal speed as the 4 Saints burst through the doors, just in time to see the Boss and Gat vanish in a flash of light. The saints stand there in silent defeat until Shaundi breaks the silence. Kinzie makes a motion as though she's tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear.

Shaundi: Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm gonna go get high as fuck off this crystal powder, and watch the timeline fall apart.

Shaundi starts to walk away.

Shaundi: It's been fun, see you in hell.

Cut to logo for Saints Row V accompanied by the SRV main theme music. A flash of light then transitions us to Magarac Island where the Boss & Gat appear, scaring a Bum and his crows.

Boss: Here we are... Steelport.

Gat pans across the cityscape.

Gat: Man, what a dump.

Boss: Well, it is an industrial city, but after becoming President, we gave it a little inspiration from Stilwater.

Gat: Alright then. Give me the grand tour.

Gameplay:
The Boss and Gat are stood on Magarac Island.
- Get in a boat

- Go to Sunset Park

Gat: So, this is the real deal huh?

Boss: Yeah. It has more personality than Zinyak's simulation made it seem.

Gat: Wish I could have been there to see the look on Phillipe's face just before that counterweight crushed him.

Boss: Kinzie saved the security footage. I'm surprised you haven't watched it.

Gat: I have, but being there in person would be way better.

Boss: Well, we could make one more trip after this.

Gat: You only get one.

Boss: Fine.

- Go to the old HQ Penthouse

Gat: This? This is where you lived in Steelport?

Boss: Well, once we got our footing, sure.

Gat: I preferred Purgatory. A crib feels a lot more like home when you build it from the ground up.

Boss: What can I say. Fame and fortune made us take the easy option.

Gat: Where to next?

- Go to Gat's Memorial Gym

Gat: Oh what fresh hell is this?

Boss: We took Angel's old Casino and turned it into a Gym filled with your history.

Gat: Uh, I appreciate the gesture, but you couldn't have toned it down, just a touch?

- Go to 3rd Street

Gat: No... Fuckin'... Way?

Boss: Hell yeah. We recreated 3rd Street right here in Steelport. Now who feels more at home, huh?

Gat: I hope you got my office right... I still hate Dex for knocking down to make way for a fuckin' staircase.

Boss: He tried to kill me... And betrayed the Saints...?

Gat: Yeah, that too.

- Go to Saints DC Boardwalk

Boss: You ready for the biggest surprise?

Gat: Holy shit! You moved the Whitehouse here!? I don't believe it!

Boss: It's the real deal.

Gat: Why didn't you move it to Stilwater?

Boss: Are you shitting me? It cost us enough to move it this far... But that's not even the best surprise.

Cutscene:
Gat turns around to see a huge statue of himself in Henry Steel Mills (where the Syndicate Tower used to be).

Boss: Whatcha think?

Gat: I think I had a major impact on your life.

Boss: That's one way to say it.

Suddenly, the Boss and Gat get surrounded by bodyguards.

Bodyguard: You're surrounded!

Bodyguard: Don't move!

Boss: Oh shit.

Gat: I think we're on the radar now.

Boss: Yeah, but it's not these guys I'm worried about.

The Boss and Gat get into an action sequence as they gain the upper hand on the Bodyguards. Unfortunately Zinyak is watching from his Throne Room.

Zinyak: How unfortunate.

Zinji: What is it, Sire?

Zinyak: We own one of the two only forms of time travel in the entire universe... And the Saints just used it to come back in time from the future.

Zinji: Are you sure, Sire?

Zinyak: Postpone the attack on the Whitehouse. We need to take care of this intrusion.

Zinji: And how do you propose we do that?

Zinyak: Well, the Saints like using time travel, let's reacquaint them with some "old friends".

Cut to the Whitehouse Saints scrambling to find out what's happening with the Boss and Gat. (While switching from Saint to Saint as they walk past each other through the halls of the Whitehouse, we catch glimpses of Zombie Lin/Carlos/& Gat kept in cells to avoid a zombie outbreak. But they are all wearing Cabinet attire)

(WC) Shaundi: Does anyone have eyes on the imposters? Repeat, does anyone have eyes...

(WC) Pierce: You say they look like Johnny? And the Prez? Lock down all Image As Design...

Viola: "Sell Saints merch" they said... "It'll grow the brand" they said...

Kinzie: Get snipers on the rooftop, and close the tunnels off so they can't leave the...

Kinzie's left ear glows blue for a second, then she sneaks into the Oval Office. She makes a motion as though she's tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear.

Kinzie (Recording): Hi, it's you from the future. I think we both knew this day would come soon enough. The timeline was destroyed. I'm not sure what's going to happen to me from this point on, but this failsafe at least allows me to send all my knowledge and memories back to a point where they might help to repair whatever is left of the timeline. Goodbye, and good luck. Transferring the data now.

Kinzie: (Gasp) Oh my god! This is... It's so...

(WC) Shaundi: Kinzie?

Kinzie turns around to see Shaundi standing in the doorway.

Kinzie: Shaundi, it's me. You have to listen to me.

(WC) Shaundi: They've breached our defences!

Kinzie: Oh fuck!

Kinzie dives out of the window as Shaundi tries to shoot her. She continues to run across the Whitehouse lawn, but is sniped in the leg by Asha from the roof of the Whitehouse.

Kinzie: (Screams in pain) I can't... Stop! I've got to find... the Boss!

Kinzie limps across the Whitehouse lawn until she reaches the gate. Just after making it to the sidewalk, she's shot in her other leg. Kinzie screams again as she stumbles a few more steps before collapsing on the road. A purple Quasar stops just before hitting her.

When the Whitehouse Saints come to the gate to retrieve her, Kinzie is gone.

Asha: She can't have gotten far.

(WC) Pierce: This is not gonna look good on the news.

The Boss and Gat are stood at the Tunnel Entrance in Henry Steel Mills.

Boss: Oh shit! I need to get a new face before this one ends up on every billboard and TV screen in the city.

Gat: To Image As Designed then.

- Go to Image As Designed (Gat Square)

- Customize your Character

- Leave Image As Designed

Boss: You don't want to change your appearance?

Gat: Nah, There's only one of me in this city anyway.

Boss: If you say so.

Phone Call:
Donnie: Boss? Is that you?

Boss: Donnie? Why the fuck are you calling me? How do you even know I'm here?

Donnie: I'm with Kinzie, in the Hospital. She says she needs to talk to you, right now.

Boss: Kinzie? She must have followed us in the time machine.

Gat: I hope she's alright.

- Go to Steelport Medical HQ's Entrance

Cutscene:
The Boss and Gat rush into the room where Kinzie is lying in a hospital bed with both her thighs bandaged up.

Boss: Kinzie!?

Kinzie: It's about time you got here.

Gat: Good to see you too.

Kinzie: Congratulations. You two destroyed the timeline. And now you can't return to the future.

Boss: What? But all we did was take a tour of the city.

Gat: And fought a bunch of Whitehouse bodyguards, and got on past you's radar...

Kinzie: More like Zinyak's radar.

Gat: Wait... What?

Boss: Kinzie's right. Zinyak knows we're here.

Kinzie: And he probably knows that I possess the only other form of time travel device too.

Gat: So... What do we do?

Kinzie: Well, we can't restore the original timeline, but it seems we have a chance to make a new timeline starting from this point onwards.

Gat: Ok, so... We go to the Whitehouse and kick Zinyak's butt alongside the Saints who think we're imposters?

Boss: That's impossible.

Gat: Glad we agree.

Boss: No, he should have attacked by now.

Kinzie: My guess is he's trying to flush you two out first so he can abduct us like he did before.

Boss: Then we have to warn the original Saints, so we can fight him together.

Donnie: I don't think it'll be that easy.

Donnie gestures for the Boss and Gat to come and look out the window. They walk over to the window, then see Vice King, Ronin, and Rollerz in a turf war on the streets of Steelport.

Boss: (Stunned) Oh my god.

Kinzie: What is it?

Gat: We got Vice Kings and Rollerz tearing up the streets.

Donnie: Ronin too.

Boss: There's the Brotherhood off in the distance.

Kinzie: The original Stilwater Gangs, and the second wave? He's not trying to flush us out...

Boss: We don't belong here.

Gat: And we can't return to our future.

Kinzie: He's just going to erase us.

Donnie: Does this mean you've roped me into this shit? Because I'm not getting tossed around like a hacky-sack this fucking time.

Gat: Glad to hear it.

Boss: Welcome to the 3rd Street Saints.

Gameplay:
The Boss and Gat are in Tornados, while Donnie drives his Quasar with Kinzie as his passenger.

Boss: Alright, try to get through the carnage until we reach a safe place. Gat and I will keep the gangs off you as best we can.

Donnie: I hope you know what you're doing.

Kinzie: They don't. They just wing it.

Donnie: Well, here goes nothing.

Gat: Woohoo! Now this is how you take a grand tour!

- Protect Donnie's Vehicle until he reaches the bridge in Sunset Boardwalk West

Gat: Well, that's the Ronin and the Vice Kings out of the way. Let's see who's next.

- Protect Donnie's Vehicle until he reaches the bridge in Overpass

Kinzie: Don't worry, I'll catch you up later.

Boss: Kinzie, who are you talking to?

Gat: Is the medication kicking in?

Kinzie: I'm not hallucinating, there'll be time for explanations later.

- Protect Donnie's Vehicle until he reaches the Hospital in 3rd Street

Boss: Alright, you take Kinzie inside. We'll meet up once we land these things.

Cutscene:
The Boss and Gat walk into the hospital room to see original Shaundi & original Pierce stood by Kinzie's bedside.

Boss: What the...

Gat: Fuck is this?!

Shaundi: Hey Boss, you miss me?

Pierce: Would someone please just explain what the fuck is going on?

Boss: It's a long story Pierce, we'll catch you up later. Right now, we need a plan of action.
