Please tell me it's a joke... or how does it work.

Purple craze.

Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition and Gat out of Hell, two ridiculous open-world playgrounds of unrestrained action, are now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 75% discount.

When the aliens invade, the fearless and slightly unhinged president of the United States has no choice but to bend time and space, the fourth wall, and Overlord Zinyak's tyrannical ambitions in order to save us all. Superpowers, mindpowers, weapons of mass attraction, and outfits that go waaaay over the top are the order of the day in this completely bonkers open world adventure that doesn't understand the meaning of "too much".

When you're done whacking aliens with weaponized genitalia, feel free to go wrestle the Prince of Darkness in the Gat out of Hell standalone expansion. Wield outrageous contraptions and soar across his demonic domain as you sin with a confident grin. If you want to make your wings even more fashionable and give your exploits some Shakespearean flair, you need the Devil's Workshop Pack.

The 75% discounts will last until April 27, 10AM UTC, as part of our Deep Silver Sale.
Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell are also available on GOG Connect until April 27, 10 AM UTC.

Now expect something like this:
- I'm not a pirate I have GoG version.
- Why there is no workshop!
- Can you release your mod to GoG version?
- This mod doesn't work with GoG version.

-...

It sort of kept the complete idiots out:)

Now the forum will go to pot :p

I feel bad for the regular contributors.

Anyway thanks for the Gog versions Deep Silver and Volition ,amazing thing to do !
To be honest i've never had any probs. with playing and installing mods on the steam versions but It's very nice to have the Gog versions :)

Also on Steam now with the same deal. SR2 Free and the rest of the series for 75% off for the next 24 hours.

Sadly, I expect these to be like SRTT on GOG - no Steam integration, so no multiplayer, no Steam Workshop, and no website character download/upload.

Well... point us unwashed gog users to there: http://www.nexusmods.com/saintsrow4/? ? ;)
It was like 10 seconds searching, have not browsed it yet but back in my Morrowind/Oblivion times I remember it as an great page. But I saw boobs on the first glance; that should cover 90% of the requests. *g*

pff... why getting something inferior when you can get the good version and add that to your steam launcher if so inclined. :D

You can't do proper new content mods without Steam Workshop on SRIV.

If you're referring to the SR2 issues, the version on GOG has *exactly* the same issues as the Steam release. The sole thing that seems to be different is they have added an NVIDIA Inspector profile that locks it to 30fps.

If it does not come with an offline installer its like -100pt on the awesome rating ;)

I have accepted that I'm a weirdo in that regard. Most ppl don't care. No difference there for them.

Edit: But hey, you probably are all free to try out for uhh.. free. For the next few days all steam users that have SR can unlock the SR titles for free on gog.
