Californian Millennial slice of life drama is an extremely niche genre, that is actively disliked by a lot of people. I don't think Volition should be aiming for the audience of cal-arts kids shows.
I think they're aiming for the younger audience and people who enjoy full of action gameplay rather than rich and serious gangster story so it can be hurtful for OG fans

I have trouble discerning who they are trying to market the game towards honestly. I really dislike the Watch Dogs aesthetic and thematic style.

Like Admixon say this can hurt og fans its true.. it is breaks my heart.. but if the gameplay are interesting i'm not gonna hesitate to play this... Probably the Fortnite walk style i should avoid that.

(Imagine an upbeat goofy Broadway show tune)

Disclaimer: This is just for fun, no ill intent... intended? And some words might seem over-exaggerated, but it was just for the purposes of rhyming.

Verse 1:
There's... Saints Row, Saints Row 2, Saints Row 3, and Saints Row 4.

Then there's Gat Outta Hell, and AOM fell through the floor.

Then Saints Row got rebooted, and almost caused a war...

But the Customization Trailer, left us all, wanting more.

Verse 2:
Looking down upon the city, while I'm gliding through the air.

Then dive bomb onto the Idols, ruining their fun fair.

I'll pump the Panteros, to a purple that's so rare.

Then use Marshall's tech against them, leaving them in despair.

Verse 3:
But this city offers more than fighting factions and machines.

You can hoverboard across the land, like it's twenty fifteen.

Buy a boat, buy a car, a boat-car or pair of jeans.

This all sounds really fun, but first I need some money.

Verse 4:
Plot a venture, build a business, or become a drug lord.

Take over Marshall Industries, and become a member of the board.

There's so much stuff to do, I don't think I'll ever get bored.

And failing all of that, I'll just go play Insurance Fraud.

Verse 5:
I'll hop in my Pirate Ship, and see what treasures I can find.

Or steal a Marshall Jet, and fly it high into the sky.

Relaxing on my Yacht, with margaritas and some pie.

And get them all decked out at Jim Rob's, I'm sure that he won't mind.

Verse 6:
I'll go to Friendly Fire, and check out their full range.

Pinata gun, A cardboard sword, and don't forget the 12 Gauge.

And a rocket launcher for the person that is full of rage.

Keep it kooky Santo? Oh wait it's "Keep it strange".

Finale:
So thank you all for listening, now I'm off to the casino.

But I don't know how to end this... So I'll just say "I love Santo Ileso".

Don't know if anybody said this, but I'm just happy the clothes that we saw were nice and I can tell they're trying to bring everybody in because I did see some baggy customization options for those who wanted them.

Yup. #BeYourOwnBoss as the advertising says. Could easily turn into a story of a rugged old thug teaching some kids the ropes.
