Saints Row 2 Texture Tool

  1. I made a new texture tool because there was a bug in old PegTool.
    Have also been added several new features.
    Please see the user's manual for more information.

    SR2PegTool_v1230.zip

    pegformat.pdf : peg_pc and g_peg_pc file format document.

    --- what's new in this version ---
    2019/05/17 v1.23
    FreeBasic compiler version updated to 1.06.0 and now it’s a part of MinGW-w64 toolchain.
    The integration of MinGW-w64 and FreeBasic eliminated the need for external dll files.
    The source code of the program is the same as v1.22.

    Awesome to see stuff like this being released :)

    Edit: If you have more info on the SR2 peg formats, I'd love to see that information released publicly - be it as a source code release or as documentation. Sharing info like this helps the community immensely.

  6. Update sr2pegtool v0.9.0.b to v0.9.1.b.

    Add R5G6B5 format support.
    Fix mipmaplevel calculation bug.
    Fix minor bug around PSNR evaluation.

    Thanks a lot, I always wanted some good ol' texture compression.
     
  8. Update sr2pegtool v0.92b to v0.93.
    Add some improvements when re-package textures.

    Supports texture with multiple frames.
    Editing of animation textures, such as explosion became possible.
    Since causes of freeze when utilizing SSE instruction set is unknown, it is not available in this version.
     
  10. Does this also make adding multiple frames possible?

    Because, if so, I got an idea for weapon textures then.
