SOLVED Saints Row 2 crashes after title screen?

The game was working yesterday, and i've been trying to get my Wii U Gamepad to work as a controller through USendMii and vJoy. I did put this x360ce into the game folder which was required, but after i set everything up it stopped working, when i click continue, new game, or load game and choose a file it just crashes. I've tried validating game cache, reinstalling, restarting my computer, tried with and without GOTR.

Edit: It just randomly started working after trying it repeatedly.

I'm having this exact issue.. except, this is a first time playing Saints Row 2 on PC. I've got the GOTR installed hoping it would fix it from what i've heard about it all over the net. But no luck there niether, also re-installed it quite a few times.. So ugh,, Any thoughts guys how i can fix it?
