Saint row 2 weapon request

I don't know if this is possible but could you re-edit the 3D model of the sniper rifle in sr2 so that the scope is not there and re-texture it so where the scope was is smooth. The point I am getting to is couldn't some skilled modders do this and call the weapon an FN-fal. Nerf the new gun and re-fix the fine aim like a assualt rifle. If this is possible then cool.
 
We don't have mesh tools for either game, so model edits are not possible.
 
Not possible. The scope would just be blue. Also, moving thread to SR2 mod request subforum.

Ooo Idol. Do you know the weapons you imported into saint row 2 from saint row with the mod GOTR? Was that because both the games used the same engine?

They weren't imported at all. They were simply leftover in the code. Both games have very different formats.
