Possible to install SR4 mods into SRTT?

Hi

For mods that add new clothing on the SR4 workshop, is there any way to make them work in SRTT? Maybe not as new items, but replace existing ones?
 
Is there any specific way to do this?

I tried putting the .vpp_pc file I got using the SRIV workshop tool into the game folder but I couldn't find the new item in any of the stores. I also tried just putting the custmesh[number of already existing item].str2_pc file into the game folder but it didn't replace the clothing item.

The clothing I'm trying to put in SRTT works fine in SR4.
