Been having the same issue as a lot of people since this game first hit the PC. Why it hasn't been rectified over the past four years is beyond me, but here it is. Only mods I have on it are the Things to do in Dominatrix, naughty edition (yes, I installed family friendly version first,and overridden with naughty version). Ran as admin, verified integrity of files, ran through steam, ran through geforce experience, double-clicked on launcher directly, and nothing works! It crashes shortly during loading screen every time I try to start the game and pick a difficulty setting.

EDIT: Removed the mods, re-verified files, and ran the game vanilla. Started up fine. Apparently, the Game of the Century version isn't fond of mods for some reason....not mine, at least.
