Evil Gat Mod

Anyone who's perused the depths of the SRTT files has came across this at some point. And using nothing but the assests available within the game, I think I've created quite a viable mod based on the "Evil Gat" concept.

After already dealing with the Morningstar in the bank, the Saints are already fully aware that Phillipe has somehow acquired DNA of the deceased Saints.

After the Boss and Shaundi make their escape, Phillipe realises he's about to lose the fight, so he switches tactics and offers Gat the chance to be with Aisha again. Gat is hesitant, but ultimately folds, so Phillipe makes him fake his death so the Saints won't come back looking for him.

With Gat aquired, Phillipe comes up with a new plan to take down the Saints, using Gat's DNA, he creates an entire army of Gat clones in the hopes they will overwhelm the Saints.

Gat realises he's not only betrayed the Saints, but possibly caused their deaths too. Phillipe then betrays Gat and tries to have him killed, but Gat escapes and goes into hiding.

As the Saints are tearing up Downtown, Phillipe has already set his new Gat clones loose in Carver Island, with an experimental clone leading them. With the brawn of Gat, but the brain of a former wrestler named Eddie Killbane Pryor. After the Saints kill Phillipe, Killbane takes a different approach to his clone army, by treating them as a hivemind, forcing them to think and act as one. Which of course causes one clone to rebel, naming himself Angel De LaMuerte, who joins forces with the Saints to bring down Killbane.

Once the Syndicate has completely fallen, Gat returns seeking forgiveness.

Would you forgive him?

And all the clones are available in Gang Customization.

Extra Details:

The Gat Cloning Lab seems to be located somewhere below Safeword, as the Boss finds recently cloned nude Gats roaming the lobby and halls of Safeword.

At some point Killbane sells failed clones to STAG, but when the Saints hyjack the plane, the failed clones get scattered all over Arapice Island.

Phillipe even had enough spare clones to loan some to the Steelport PD. (Just pretend the Police used in the "I'm Free, Free Falling" cutscene are just really handsome guys that look alot like Gat) (Though in open world gameplay, most of the clones seem to utilize Gat's body, while maintaining the default police heads, I don't know why, and I have not found a fix for it as of yet)

Update: V1.1

Plane v2.png

Looks like Gat gets his revenge on both betrayers now.

Please help

I started a fresh save with this mod installed, now it consistently crashes during "The Ho Boat", while aboard the Oppressor, mid way through Pierce saying "Why are they aiming at us?".

Any advice?

I'm unfamiliar with enemies that appear in this mission, but it sounds like there is a problem with the modded files of the character models that appear at that section specifically. I've had this "crash at a specific time" when modding a Brute to use a different character, for example.
Are they just Morningstar, or are there other gangs as well?

It's just Morningstar throughout the whole mission.

Aboard the Cargo ship is fine. The waves are fine, the initial heli defense is fine (with the boats chasing you), but as soon as the first group are supposed to spawn on the island next to the Oppressor, it just crashes.

I don't recall there being anything unusual about those spawns compared to any of the missions or activities that came before it.

I've even played through the "The Trouble With Clones" missions which have similar spawns on the rooftop near Magarac Bridge.

Well, I guess I'm off this game for another month or two then. Can't play it if it's broken. And there's too many files in the mod to just simply remove it until I complete this one mission. I had to replace several "sim.pc" files to make it work... But I guess it wasn't enough.
