[Enhanced Graphics 2] Saints Row 2 : Shinobu" Fix - Ultra Settings

After a few months, when I left the project hanging. I finally "complete" the preset for Saints Row 2 ...
I had no idea for the name of mods ... So, they call Saints Row 2 Shinobu" Fix - Ultra settings.

Ultra settings because it need a very good PC. Assimilate with the rotten port of the game, it gives poor performance on Ultra.

Now, if I play with mods and all the shaders enabled, I get about a 25-40 fps at 1920x1080.

My CPU: i7 3770k (3.7 Ghz)
My GPU: GTX 770 (Like GTX 680)

But for people who have lower PC, don't worry. I create other version with less effect. But prepare your still losing performance even with light version.

This mods is achieve with ReShade. (The other Shinobu" Fix Natural Color is achieve with SweetFX).

I made 5 versions of this... the most powerful to the weakest.

DOF ? SSAO ? SMAA ? What is it ?

These are post-processing additions to the game, such a better ambient occlusion or depht of field effect , non-existent in the original game...

Before start :

1 : Make SURE turn off the HDR in-game...

I saw some screen with the Shinobu"Fix [Natural Color] where the HDR is turn on...
The HDR in-game is bad, it gives a dirty look grey and the bloom is pixelated. Turn off this options when you play with this mods (Ultra Settings or Natural Color).

2 : Gentlemen of the Row

I not present this mod, is a indispensable mod for Saints Row 2...
If you want the same render of my screenshot, you need Gentlemen of the Row

3 : Update your system !

ReShade need a Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 up to date...
You need a DirectX update, the system (see Windows Update Settings) and .NET Framework 4.5.2 (installed by default on Windows 10 )

4 : Disable Ultra Settings any time...

If you want disable the Ultra Settings Mods any time. Press "Scroll Lock" on the Keyboard.

1 : Select your preset :

2 : Copy all files into the folder you choose :

3 : Paste into the main folder of Saints Row 2 :

4 : ???

5 : Profit

I have nothing but the black screen after launching the game. However, everything shows up if I disable ReShade via Scroll Lock. I use GOTR, Masamaru's Landscape HQ texture pack and Powertools. My OS is Windows 10.

eeeeeh, the crash begin.
It possible i upload a wrong file but i check with my laptop, it's run on windows 10

I tried high version because I hate DOF.

I tried with my laptop (same folder at desktop) , no problem, just run at 15 fps lol. (The problem is not Windows 10, good)
So, I delete the pack file , sorry. I should have checked with Vanilla Version with GOTR.
Tomorrow, i think the problem is solved... keep watching and sorry for the problem..

I hope the problem is not AMD Hardware.... i have no AMD at home for debug...

EDIT : i think it's SMAA (Anti-aliasing) causes a Black screen issues, but i prefer check with a clean version vanilla (I download on Steam, the download is not fast and it's 3:00 AM at home. )

for Fan of Saints and Admixon, you can delete the 8 files on the main folder game :

- MasterEffect folder
- d3d9.dll
- d3d9.txt
- global_settings
- keyCodes,
- MasterEffect.h
- Reshade.fx
- ReShade_settings

and DL the new files...

Just a little question, would it be possible to change the toggle key from Scroll Lock? It conflicts with Powertools, which use this key as well.
