Different Walking Animations for Female Characters

This mod adds 7 different walking animations so you can give more personality and uniqueness to your characters. Keep in mind that this also works for male characters/animations, however because I used female ped walk animations to replace the base walk animation of the player character, some of the male animations will look feminine. I decided to release this quick and easy mod while I continue on my next massive upcoming mod.

The animations are as follows:

Walk A (Catwalk): For those who want a graceful stride, walk as if it is a fashion show

Walk B (Cocky Stride): Similar to catwalk, but why not raise your head high in the meantime?

Walk C (Sexy Strut): Slight shoulder movement, slight lean, overall elegant walk

Walk D (Determined): Walk like you mean business

Walk E (Pimp Lean): For fans of the SR 2 pimp walks, this would be your favorite

Walk F (Gangsta): Aggressive looking walk because if you talk the talk, you got to walk the walk

Walk G (Sexy Strut Loose): Let's loosen up those hips, shall we? Note: Because this is a weapon walk replaced over the base walk without a weapon (female gang member rpg walk), the right hand looks strange because it stays in one place instead of swinging like the left one. To fix that, one would need to figure out a way to import anim_pc files into blender or another 3d software and change the pose there. As it stands now, that static right hand will unfortunately stay as such.

For maximal flexibility I decided to give you the replaced animation files instead of the preload_anim packfile so you can combine it with your own mods, other mods, or my future mods easier. To install the mod, on the site go to tool releases, Saints Row IV, then click the first mod called: Minimaul's Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV and Gat Out Of Hell tools
and download the "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow-rev133" file.

After download click on "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfileGUI.exe", click extract, go to your Saints Row IV/packfiles/pc/cache folder and extract preload_anim packfile twice, one as a constant animation swapper version that you would be using and one to serve as vanilla backup. After you have extracted, pick one of the walking styles, copy the files into your animation swapper version and overwrite over the existing files.

Click on "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.BuildPackfileGUI.exe", select Saints Row IV as the game, and click on browse for source files, select the extracted preload_anim folder you overwrote the mod files into and click "Ok", then click build. After clicking build make sure the "Save as type" option is set to "Normal Packfile (*.vpp_pc)" and type the file name exactly as "preload_anim". Click save, wait for the green bar to be complete, when it says "Finished!" underneath it's ready (Also do not touch anything for "update asm_pc file?" Leave it as it is and it will be greyed out)

Finally take your new "preload_anim" packfile you just created go back to Saints Row IV/packfiles/pc/cache and overwrite over the regular one. That's it, enjoy the mod!

Some pro tips to make the process faster: Once you made a custom preload_anim once just copy over it into your cache folder instead of cut, the reason being is that if you leave it there by copying you can simply click on the existing preload_anim and it would give you a prompt of: "preload_anim,vpp_pc already exists. Do you want to replace it?" click yes. This is much faster than manually typing "preload_anim" each time for future swaps you would want to make.

The other tip is to pin your "cache" folder to quick access near the top, and pin "ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.BuildPackfileGUI.exe" to your taskbar as well so you don't have to go through the folder each time and visually find the exe each time.
