SRIV Can Super power effects be connected to a regular weapon.

Is it possible to call on super power affects for a weapon upgrade? - (something along the lines of the Ultimate options in the weapon_upgrades.xtbl)

I had a wild idea of converting the SR3 DLC grenade launcher over to SR4 and setting it to use different effects...

The idea is/was to set the skin choice to coincide with an affect choice...

Something like:
A light blue skin to go with the freeze effect (or maybe a frosting of the barrel and a light blue cylinder).
A Genki style reskin to go with the mind control rounds.
A red skin to go with fire (or maybe flames on the end of the barrel and a red cylinder).
A black skin with lightning bolts on the barrel for Lightning rounds.
All 4 would call for different str2_pc's as SR4 has each skin separate.

Then offer upgrades to increase duration and area affect, as well as an option to change the grenades from direct impact to bounce (this would call for changes in the weapon_upgrades.xtbl).

Seeing the SR3 DLC grenade launchers settings in the weapons.xtbl is what gave me the idea...
And since manual detonation is no longer available (the grenade control was replaced with the super power control), I figured make it so the grenade mimic super powers :cool:

But like I said its just a Wild idea... I don't even know if you can match skins to super power effects (it would be nice though)....

Also is there a way to make add-ons to tables (instead of having to replace tables).
IE instead of calling on a new weapon_upgrades.xtbl, weapons.xtble, and other tables make a option to add to them instead.
This way if everything in packed into a single *.vpp_pc it can be used along with the base game or with other mods without conflict?
