Black screen,but music plays.

So basically I start up srtt on my PS3 but after the screen with the sponsor's it either goes complete black screen or it goes really dark,and if I take out the disk it restarts my PS3.Plz help(I've formated the data ,reset my PS3 but it doesn't work(it's a phat PS3 if that help)
