This is a simple mod that takes away the charge of any chargable weapon and makes them semi-automatic.
It also makes it to where no gun will over heat. Both of these features apply to alien guns, and vehicles.
Land or air. Including the mech suit.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the weapons.xtbl in the Saints Row IV root folder located:
-C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV

UPDATES: Added weapon_upgrades.xtbl table that fixed a problem people had with weapon overheating after upgrading.

This mod is great! Is there anyway you can reduce the spread of the alien rifle? I've tried and i can't seem to figure it out.
 
It doesn't seem like it works for me - I threw it in, but the charge doesn't seem to be gone disintegrator or black hole gun for me - as well as still overheating the alien pistols.
 
yeah. not working either. weapons are still overheating....
maybe in a different table?
 
I'm new to all this modding stuff.

But I have a mod already called weapons. Is there anyway to like use them both?
