Howdy!
I’ve been an occasional browser of this awesome community over the years but this is my first post. Hopefully I’m not asking for something an easy search would have revealed but I haven’t had any luck so I’m here.
I plan on making interactive web-based maps for the entirety of the Saints Row series. The usual list of collectibles that you can mark retrieved, easter eggs and the like. I would like to get the actual assets like the activity/store map icons, the spray can icon, etc. I’d love to get a raw version of the in-game map or tiles however that was implemented.
Is there a tool to extract the images? I’ve seen a texture tool but I know from working with other game tools that sometimes different transparency images get a different name in tooling.
I can get everything with screenshots but that will require a lot of Photoshopping
so any advice is greatly appreciated.
I will be hosting everything I build at my game preservation site VideoGame Pavilion.
