Adding HUD/map Icons

I wanted to know how to add some icons for the map. Just like on the mod Ultor Rising made by MasakoTeam, he was able to add the train icons (I know he replaced with the race icon activity, but somehow he moved those icons to another position of the map) on the correct places. If someone can help me out a little bit, will be more than appreciated.
