From what I remember (been a while since I looked at those), you have to repack them in to the respective "*_Modal.str2_pc", and then repack that in to "dlc1_stream_grid.asm_pc", then copy both the asm_pc and each str2_pc files in to the root directory of the game. It's a similar file structure...

If anyone is still curious, this mod does not include anything for the DLC activities (genkibowl). This only affects the main game activities.

I had the crash issue too on that mission. I did a quick test of updating a copy of stream_grid.asm_pc from my SRIV install, with the individual r_*_modal.str2_pc files from this mod, and was then able to start that mission. I'm guessing one of the game updates must have touched something in...
