    Saints Row Title Update

Due to Saints Row Title Update being required for a variety of SR1 mods, we've uploaded a mirror to it on the server and placed a link to it in Saints Row (2006) segment of Mod Releases category. The mirror will be permanently accessible through link...

READ THIS: Before releasing your mod...

Before releasing your mod: Pack all the files necessary for your mod into a ZIP file, RAR file or 7z file. Saints Row Mods recommends 7-Zip. Name this new file something simple and descriptive, and add a version number! Make sure it's your own work. If it's not your own work, get permission. If...

Saints Row Wiki is now Independent

Thank you! I have filed it as soon as we went public, it seems it takes about a month for them to process it. I don't know if more people filling it speeds it up or... Yeah honestly we lucked out with reboot being a brand new setting with a brand new cast. If it weren't, they would've probably...

Saints Row Wiki is now Independent

For years now, the Saints Row Wiki has worked towards moving away from Fandom to an independent wiki host. Thanks to our friends at Wiki Federation, we have succeeded in doing so. As of May 3rd, 2025, I’m happy to announce that the Wiki is finally ready to be publicized and can be accessed and...

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

We don't have access to it, it was registered to Mike's name and that the registration just expired. We only have access to saintsrowmods.com and moddersoftherow.org domain. Sadly with no access to it, the site is gone. Funny enough, we do have our contact form bombarded by the casino bots...

How To Add New Simple Re-textured Clothing (beginners guide)

Right Click on Saints Row IV in your Steam Library, go to Properties > Betas. Under Beta Participation, select sriv_legacy You can use the mods in Re-Elected, but new clothing items are sometimes really unstable and tend to crash the game for a lot of people. I honestly recommend just reverting...

How To Add New Simple Re-textured Clothing (beginners guide)

I'd honestly try reverting it to Legacy version and trying again just in case. I honestly haven't modded Saints Row IV in years, and I know the Re-Elected patch messed up bunch of modding related stuff

How To Add New Simple Re-textured Clothing (beginners guide)

What version of Minimaul's tools are you using? Make sure its Rev 121. If that doesn't help, are you on Re-Elected or Legacy branch of SRIV?

How To Add New Simple Re-textured Clothing (beginners guide)

You can, just make sure you merge the layers before exporting.

    Is a fan-game attemptable?

As of right now, you are allowed to make and release fan games (including using stuff from the games) as long as you don't sell or paywall them in any way. Volition previously stated this on their Twitter, but I got confirmation it still applies today.

    Front Page Re-Organized

We decided to overhaul the front page a few weeks ago. Considering Saints Row The Third Remaster, Saints Row reboot, and the original Saints Row got their own modding forums in recent years, these new forums pushed the ones with bigger mod selections and means to be modded lower on the list...

    We have a favicon now!?

Whoops, yeah we should've probably made a post in announcement about the overhaul. My bad

Saints Row 3\4\Remastered mesh import addon for Blender

Oh this is perfect. The old method was extremely hard to get right, thank you so much!

How To Add New Simple Re-textured Clothing (beginners guide)

This method doesn't work for tattoos, just clothing items. Nothing else can be cloned so you'd have to replace existing tattoos using a similar method. You'll need to use Flow754's Peg Assembler. First navigate to your SRIV root folder, go to packfiles\pc\cache. In there, you'll find...

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

I wouldn't take this too seriously. Seems to be a regular Steam maintenance update rather than actually change made by the developers. It happens every once in a while

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

It actually looks like a standard remaster. Remasters similar to SRTT are really rare in the industry (the only other one I can think of is Mass Effect Legendary Edition) since how costly it can be to make them. Usually remasters j ust upscale a few textures, get new lighting and apply a few...

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

Technically "they" are. The work is just getting overshadowed by all the problem the reboot has. After all, their new releases will always be a bigger priority cause that's what they're paying them to make. I assume now with Gearbox taking over the management, they'll get more people on the...

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

Because its a side project worked on by only a few devs (single digit) in their spare time. Main priority has always been Saints Row reboot, and considering SRR launched in a buggy state, you can assume they're busy working on fixing that one first.

SR2 Saints Row 2 Mega Patch isn't coming... but

Nothing changed tho. They just answer to Gearbox instead of Deep Silver. Since SR2 patch is Volition's project and nothing to do with Deep Silver, this doesn't change anything about the patch.
