Hey y'all, it's been a while.
I got the bug to start playing with SRIV again, and was wondering if it's yet possible to create vehicle variants and have them spawn in game? I see there's some new SDK stuff out, I haven't really looked at any of it yet to get familiar.
If this is possible, is...
so, I've got the feeling that Volition is caving to the loud people who want Saints Row to be a gritty crime sandbox again, and intends to reboot. And that this is their caveat to those of us who want an over the top superhero game, splitting the gameplay off into a new series.
I'm strongly...
You know what would make me exceedingly happy? If they split the timeline.
We could have one game which was a down to earth cop/crime sandbox, with the Saints now cops working in Stilwater, perhaps 'the Boss' becoming an undercover agent a la Sleeping Dogs. And another game which is a wild...
I could probably play through that mission and see if it's possible to complete it without going to the store, for instance, going to Saints HQ to wipe your notoriety (which is nearby).
I guess we can just wait for Volition to weigh in on this. I assume it's -possible-, though possibly not...
I'm a little unsure on this one, but how plausible would it be to make it so notoriety wipes ONLY occur at cribs, and not at purchased stores?
Also, if it is possible, would such a mod affect the mission "Takeover The City", which involves going to Friendly Fire after you purchase it to wipe...
It's more of a crazy idea Ellix, but if I can get my hands on it I'm sure interested in seeing how viable it is. Though I think my major hurdle no matter how well replacing the wavs works would be figuring the whole script out and then writing dialogue that would fit into the Boss' slots in the...
It's less about the SOUND of the voice and more WHAT the voice is SAYING.
Come on man, there's even variation between the lines of the different vanilla voices. You never noticed that?
...What I'm trying to be subtle about here is that I have an idea to record a 'superhero' styled voice, of...
Oh, I'm sure I could make it worth it.
I'm just wondering if it'd just be enough to record new lines and put them where the old lines were supposed to go. I mean, that wouldn't update the subtitles, but right now I'm just thinking on the aspect of changing the voice.
I am very much of the 'more gameplay' school when it comes to this. I like new outfits but most of the ones I've purchased are full outfits that are not broken into individual costume pieces and therefore limit creativity.
I really like the superhero outfits and I'm currently playing the game...
This question is a thought in regards to SRIV in particular but probably could be applied to each game in the series: How difficult would it be to create a new voiceover for the Boss? Either replacing one of the voices already in the game or somehow hacking together an altogether new selection...
this is a troll thread, right?
Cars in GTAIV (or really, any 3D GTA game I've ever played) steered like you were driving a block of ice taped to someone's ass and steering THAT with your own ass, which was taped to the first person's ass.
There's currently no way to break apart the outfits. That doesn't mean it won't happen, we just don't yet have the tools for it.
Besides, it'd make way more sense in the 'backpack' slot.
