Yeh ,i suppose it's easy to forget we all have to start somewhere .
Like i wouldn't know where to begin when it comes to making mods that compare to some of the great stuff i download from fellow users here on saintsrowmods.
I've never heard of Texmod been used for Saintsrow 3/4 .
I think it will only work with DX9 games so you need to make sure a game is running in dx9 mode.
Maybe you could try Umod which is supposed to be a newer version of Texmod ,though development seems to have stopped on Umod ages ago .

It's the file u need to run when starting the game.
It's the file that a SR3 desktop shortcut will point to .

Yeh ,Gog have done it with another game recently (can't remember the name ) .
They're never gonna get any blowback from pirates ,so it's easy for them to do.
They do have a habit of trying to make their game release sound better than the equivalent steam release.
I think they did it with system...
