The shadows seem to change based on time, but the sky colours and general lighting does not. I assume this is because of TOD Override you get after finishing the game. Is there a way to fix that? (steam legacy_stable)
edit: I wonder if it happens to other people too. It could be a problem with...
It entirely depends on how Voliton coded that particular top.
The Three Count Top is frequently edited into more 'interesting' shapes because it was coded to support an alpha channel, hence the hole in the chest area of that top in vanilla. If a piece of apparel doesn't already support alpha...
no problem! thank you for admitting as well, it helps people (including lurkers) fix their own issues.
for Remastered you need to use menthe-sr-tools . Remember to have NET Framework 5.0 installed and take Zopiahhhhhhhhh's tip of changing the .bat file to drag and drop.
Works fine for me, just tried the rev133 version on da_tables and skybox.vpp_pc.
Try using the ExtractPackfileGUI version and extracting to desktop (or a folder with no space in the directory name e.g. C:\Users\User\Desktop ).
Alternatively, try using latest Gibbed Tools from github; extract...
this sounds like a neat idea but was there a specific idea on how you balanced out the numbers? is it to feel realistic or to encourage every weapon having its own use? since there are other weapon rebalance mods already i'd be interested to know in how it differs
that sounds good, there may be some people that don't have it pinned to start menu for example.
you may need to add checks/error message if sr2_pc somehow isn't found though, and also prevent people from multi-launching if that is even possible by default
yeah, tho it depends on the game. some titles like fallout 3/new vegas do create registry entries like usual, and will absolutely bother you if the registry or the documents folder doesn't have the game config files.
but then again that game engine is held together with duct tape so yeah lol...
Is this a "run from anywhere and it auto-detects" function?
Or is there something specific about Steam and GOG for mod managing?
Testing results (GOG):
I only have GOG version installed rn.
Ran .exe in downloads folder, asked me to point it anyway (which I cancelled)
Checked appdata/roaming and...
I think this is a great feature, just like in-game mixtape you are limited to one playlist which means you can't have multiple moods of music for example.
If there's problems to do it like limitations of xtbl or radio system I understand though
Yeah, but I still really enjoy what we got. I mostly haven't modded that recently since discovered it makes my sorry PC heat up way too good but I think it still allows interesting stuff to be done - just different
