Which two ports are you talking about? Your picture doesn't make that very clear. If you're talking about the two 6 or 8 pin ports on the end there to connect it to your PSU- yes, you'll need to have them plugged in. If not, you're doing it wrong.
Do you even need a reason? Gat is fucking awesome, and has totally deserved his own spin-off game for a while now. Kinzie I'm not as crazy about, but I can see why fans would want her included, but surprised there wasn't more of a mass debate over her or Shaundi.
It's not possible to add any new animations to the preload_anim.vpp_pc archive included with this mod without crashing, as it already includes a lot of SR3 and singleplayer animations I threw in there to be compatible with my NPC mod and Sandbox+. The archive has now reached the current limit...
Looks pretty neat. I'm excited to fool around with the new flight features, really hope they include some all new diversions and activities, not just re-skinned old stuff, please. I'm a little disappointed to see the world filled with clones of SR4 activities already (control points, wardens)...
I'm looking forward to this somewhat, but I really wish it was just integrated with the full SR4 game on PC instead of being a standalone thing. I understand why it needed to be done (for console users), but it's still disappointing.
Finally! I can't wait to try this out, once the memory limits have been expanded, of course. It's not currently possible to add anything new to my current weapon mods without deleting content, and I really don't want to do that. (Although making this "impaler" work with some unused projectile...
Oh my god, I had no idea he was dealing with cancer.
Fuck.
Rest in peace, Jarek. You were a real Saint to work with, one hell of a talented man. I'll miss you.
It shouldn't be too hard. Just open up character.xtbl and locate the following entries for the super powered enemies:
Now find the character entry with the model that you want to use, and swap its <character> model with another. For example, I'll switch the blow up doll to a punk model.
I'm a liar, those unlocks can't be merged with this mod currently because there's simply no space left on the table file. Whoops! Here's another version with that stuff removed, as the new entries I tried to add can cause some serious problems with missions.
PLEASE RUN THE UNINSTALLER BEFORE...
When is this stuff going to be unlocked and usable to us modders? The game has been out for nearly a year now, and there's still been no word on this locked content...
What kind of Matrix parody game doesn't even have a usable slow-mo mode?
