Is GOTR able to run on a laptop?

I'm on Windows 8.1 and I have correctly installed GOTR many times (I think) but it still crashes after the startup logos, any help?

Have you tested if the game runs without the GOTR mod installed?

the game barely runs without it. (Yes it does and it runs way better aspecially the cars as orignaly it nearly use to crash when driveing, now it runs at a constant 60fps)

It still crashes, so I still have no clue how to run the game at all.

Are you running the game as administrator? If it's a first run, it could be an issue with creating/accessing files.
