How do I properly open .xtbl files in Notepad++?
You're not doing anything wrong. That's the way they are formatted.I have a question. How do you get the correct formatting for .xtbl files in Notepad++? I opened one, but it was all bunched together.What am I doing wrong?

If you find this too difficult to edit, you may want to try the Table File Editor, which is what Volition uses to edit many of their tables.

Open the file in Notepad++, then select "Plugins" (menu), "XML Tools", "Pretty Print (XML only - with line breaks)". That will reformat it for you to make it easier to read/edit.
But be patient. It may take a couple minutes to reformat the whole "customizations_items.xtbl" file.
