Story-wise, some bits of SRTT are as bad as Hitman Absolution. The primary downside to SR2 is the quality of the PC port.

You can try installing it via GoS ( http://idolninja.saintsrowmods.com/sr3/gentlemen_of_steelport/Gentlemen_of_Steelport_v1.0_Beta_3.rar ) as it's included there as an installable mod. If GoS in general doesn't work for you, some other devilish wizardry at fault.

I would presume that the version of this included in the GoS pack (just like the version of my mod integrating it included in the GoS pack :D) should be adapted to the most recent patch, while this download here (like all other similarly old downloads) essentially lacks information about any DLC...

That'd require the ability to get the state of your world pre-mission (to restore it later), and so far there's no known way of doing that.

I sure offered variation in the post before yours (meaning you get at least three files to choose from?), and it's rather trivial to edit any of that with a text editor. Since this is just a lua (text) file in the game folder, it's about the easiest form of modding. No unpacking, repacking, or...

I was under the impression that on save reload, my sr3_city.lua would change zones according to mission progress (and user changes of the file). It'd be great if you could investigate how that works exactly, i.e. when it is called and when it is not.

I think we need a different thread for install issues. You probably have a store_vehicle.str2_pc or so too from other mods, right? If so that would be the conflict source.
