Change "protect_zero = false" to "protect_zero = true" on xenia's config. This should get rid of the crashes. If you don't know how to get xenia's config, a quick google has the answer.(And I am only saying it like this for posterity sake, since the emulator is bound to change at any moment.)

Check the mods you downloaded(Or in this case that you want, the giant mech) and delete each file they use/replace from your Saints Row IV folder. If that doesn't fix your crashes, keep removing until it's fixed. Or it could be the recent game patches causing this. It's unknown.

Perhaps do something similar to the Tales of Zestiria Community Fix, whereas you set the game to run at a lower FPS but in normal speed. I also noticed cutscenes are "a bit in normal speed" even with low fps. Perhaps learning a trick with the cutscenes may help that happen?
