Mods folder not working

It's really weird because the first time I had this game and tried some mods using the mods folder for example Bayonetta's mod.
I reinstalled the game a couple of days ago and tried to do the same method which is making a folder with the name "mods", but nothing happened the mods didn't work and now I can't make my boss look like mommy Bayonetta.
plz help

which version of sriv are you playing? If its not legacy version then mods wont work..

In "Properties" search "Beta" or something similar and you can find the legacy version like that.. In any case that your SRIV is not steam version, then mods folder wont work as far i know
