im having a bad problem and its annoying me a lot

so today i decided to boot up SR4 and it kept crashing whenever at the loading screen after i press the Continue button in the main menu

i verified the games files and its all fine, i even checked it too and the files look fine, no idea why is this happening can someone please help?

Mods are usually the culprit in situations like that, especially if it started up okay before. The easiest way to make sure is delete all loose files in the root of your sr4 install (but leave the subfolders!) Then, verify integrity of game cache. It should only need to redownload ~28Mb or so.
